Oakfield 39” Soil Sampler Model DB3
Constructed of nickel-chrome plated, 16-gauge steel to resist abrasion, plus all parts are interchangeable! Augers are 1-1/4” in diameter, have double twist with 2-1/4” pitch. The auger sections are 8” long with 4” shanks. Thread-on features 1/2” x 13 threads per inch. Tubes are designed to eliminate friction in the tube after cutting the sample. Samples may be unloaded from the tube without binding or compacting. Allows you to select the tip to fit soil and moisture conditions. Contains: 12” handle, two 12” extension rods, 15” tube which extracts a sample 12”L x 13/16”dia. Kit includes 3/4” (S-1) mini-tip for dry soil, 3/4” (S-2) regular tip for moist soil, 11/16” (S-3) tip for wet soil.
